"Every mouth you’ve ever kissed was just practice. All the bodies you’ve ever undressed and ploughed in to were preparing you for me. I don’t mind tasting them in the memory of your mouth.
Was it a long journey? Did it take you long to find me?
You’re here now, welcome home."

NOOOO NO NO NONO FUCK FUCK  FUCKIG CBS IS TELLING WOMEN NOT TO REPORT SEXUAL HARASSMENT BECAUSE IT WILL “DAMAGE THEIR CAREERS” and “HARASSMENT IS AN UNFORTUNATE PART OF CLIMBING THE LADDER” I AM SO ANGRY THEY ARE LITERALLY TURNING SEXUAL HARASSMENT INTO A NORM THIS IS NOT OKAY

This is an actual article and I’m still having a hard time believing it’s real.

IF YOU ARE SEXUALLY HARRASSED YOU REPORT THAT SHIT

“Harassment is often something the guy doesn’t even notice. A study of from the American Association of University Women found that in more than half the cases, women thought men were harassing them and the men had no idea. ”
THIS IS A PROBLEM, NOT A FACT OF LIFE

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Reblogging to my main blog becase this is very important.

Penelope Truck needs her fucking head examined if she thinks that this is ok to tell someone. Like shrimpwonder said, some men don’t know what sexual harassment is and don’t know that they are doing it, how about we educate everybody on sexual assault in any situation rather then telling women “oh he didn’t know, don’t report him and make him feel bad for not knowing he was sexually harassing you.”

Privilege in action, jfc!  This is one of those issues where continually objectifying women is detrimental in ways that aren’t “just” about being sexually objectified.  An object can’t have feelings, only a subject can have feelings and we are taught to see men as subjects and women as objects which means by and large when there’s any empathizing going on it’s going to be with the men not the women because when you empathize you have to consider how someone else is feeling and objects can’t have feelings so why would anyone ever consider how women are feeling?  They’re not people, they’re objects, they don’t have feelings because they can’t! Only men have feelings because they’re the subjects so they’re the ones we can empathize with.  That means that in a situation where man feelings and woman feelings are pitted against each other - like a woman feeling fucking terrible and terrified because she has put up with sexual harassment at her job or a man feeling maybe a little embarrassed or upset over receiving disciplinary action at his job when he didn’t even mean to be harassing in the first place! (wah) - people side with and empathize with the man and don’t even fucking consider how the woman feels at all and women are told to just deal with it because it’s not like their feelings matter to anyone who’s not them anyway.

Please women, report it. No matter who says what. Your voice important.
